About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for an RFI regarding Interior/Exterior Painting services at West Point, containing 11 questions from potential bidders and the government's responses. The opportunity is a recompete of contract W911SD-18-D-0002, structured as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year plus four option years.
Key details include: bids are due March 11, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST; YPC, INC. is the incumbent contractor; no site visits are currently scheduled as specific locations will be identified in individual task orders; and no drawings will be provided upfront as this is an IDIQ contract where detailed specifications are contained in the Technical Provisions section. The CLIN structure is designed to accommodate pricing requirements, with specific locations, measurements, and precise areas to be painted being defined in each task order. The original Section 52.236-27 Site Visit clause has been removed, and a discrepancy between bid due dates (March 7 vs. March 11) was resolved to confirm March 11, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST as the correct due date.
