QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

W911SD-20-R-0023

Q1. I wanted to ask you a question regarding the On Post Grass Cutting contract (notice ID: W911SD20R0023). So I'm looking at the SOW and I see that the frequency of the mowing for the semi-improved grounds are 3 times per period performance, but it does not state one for the improved grounds. Was this left out by mistake? If it is stated elsewhere in the document, please direct my attention to the appropriate section.

On a related note, where it says "period of performance", does it mean each year? (i.e., three times per period of performance means three times per year?). Your clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A1. If you look at the contract the POP is for the year. That being said there are 3 cuts for Semi Improved for the year or POP and 28 cuts for Improved for the year or POP. It is referenced in the CLINS.

Q2. One another question was, will you reschedule another site-visit? The one posted already seems to have passed.

A2. No, there will not be another Site-Visit.

Q3. Can you tell me what the last contract bidded for in past?

A3. Regimental Contracting, LLC.

Q4. Does the scope or work changed from last bid to this year?

A4. No.

Q5. Hourly wages I see $ value but what are the benefits. I see in the back of packet there is wage scale curious about benefits.

A5. Benefits are listed in Wage Determination in Solicitation.

Q6. Do I provide equipment or is it provided, most federal facilities provided equipment in past?

A6. Yes, contractor provides equipment, See Factor 1 Experience in Evaluation Criteria.

Q7. Can I store equipment on site? Is there a garage there I can operate out of.

A7. There is a storage yard off post to store a trailer and trucks, about 3 miles away. There is no garage or government facility to use.

Q8. Is scope of work only cutting grass?

A8. Please see PWS for all the services the contractor shall provide to perform requirements.

Q9. Will you guys be updating the pricing sheets to reflect the correct Acres per CLIN?

A9. The acreage in the CLINS are correct. The acreage is approximately 80 acres for improved, and 107 semi improved for a total of 187 acres.

Q10. There is not CLIN for Semi Improved for Area SI On CLIN 0010 AREA SIIA APPROX 22.6 ACRES is this supposed to be area SIII?

On CLIN 0012 AREA CIA APPROX 4.37 ACRES please confirm Acres and that in fact this is CI.

On CLIN 0013 AREA NIA APPROX 18.5 ACRES Please confirm Acres and that it is area NI.

On CLIN 0014 AREA NIIA APPROX 19.1 ACRES Please confirm acres and that this is area NII.

CLIN 0016 for MOTORPOOL there is not acres. Should we use the ones provided in the original map?

Same goes for 0017 MOTORPOOL Semi Improved.

A10. -CLINS 0001-0007 are for Improved Grounds, 28 cuts per POP -CLINS 0009-0014 are Semi-improved, 3 cuts per POP -There is no Semi for Area SI, there is a small yellow colored section on map, disregard
