About this file
This document is a Technical Exhibit (TE #4) that provides an inventory of Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington. It lists the location, manufacturer, unit number, and other technical details for three passenger elevators at JBLM. The document indicates that a minimum/maximum variance of 10% in the quantity of VTE is identified for the base and all option periods regarding full-service maintenance and repair contract line items (CLINs). The inventory will be reviewed every 6 months, and if the quantity falls outside the accepted variance, the parties will determine if updated pricing is required to reflect the increase or decrease on the affected CLIN(s). Any price revision will be effective upon the issuance of the applicable contract modification.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for Vertical Transportation Equipment Full-Service Maintenance and Repair Services at JBLM. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform these services, which are designated as a Mission Essential Function. The work is to be performed on equipment of various types and from various manufacturers to ensure continuous and safe operation of the VTE.

A minimum/maximum variance in the quantity of VTE is identified for the base and all option periods regarding full service maintenance and repair CLINs. Every 6 months TE’s #3 and #4 will be reviewed to determine if the quantity of VTE’s has fallen below or exceeded the stated variance for any CLINs. If it is determined that the quantity is outside the accepted variance, both parties will determine if updated pricing is required to reflect the increase or decrease on the affected CLIN(s). Any price revision will be effective upon the issuance of the applicable modification. The variance is ±10%.
Note 1: Pricing is not retroactive.
Note 2: Option periods will be adjusted to reflect any price revisions.
