Government Answers to Industry Questions 10 September 2024

Question 1: The solicitation mandates a 4-hour on-site emergency response time, which presents a logistical challenge given the specialized nature of UPS systems and potential availability/location of qualified personnel. We kindly request the government to consider an adjustment to the emergency response time. We propose a response window of 8 to 12 hours for emergency services. This extended timeframe would allow us to dispatch qualified technicians efficiently, without compromising service quality, response effectiveness, or the readiness of the UPS systems

Answer 1: No, we require a 4-hour on-site emergency response.
