About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation W9114F-25-Q-A035, addressing a chemistry testing equipment procurement for the U.S. Army Health Clinic in Vicenza, Italy. The Q&A covers key clarifications including bilirubin test specifications, connection definitions for analyzer components, acceptance of quality control levels, and technical support language options. Notable changes include an extended submission deadline from May 28, 2025, to June 12, 2025, at 17:00 Germany time, and a slight adjustment of the instrument delivery window from July 1st to July 31st, 2025.

The procurement involves an automated chemistry analyzer with specific requirements around test capabilities, connections, and support services. The government has provided responses to vendor questions regarding test volumes, instrument workload, delivery timelines, and technical specifications. While a full 90-day delivery extension was not granted, the agency showed flexibility by modifying the delivery date and referencing additional details in Amendment W9114F25QA035-0001, which contains further information about test quantities and instrument workload.

a. This is correct, it refers to total bilirubin and neonatal direct bilirubin.

3. It is requested to specify what is meant by "connections" in requirement 2.9.

a. Connections refers to any wired connection between the main analyzer body and parts such as printers, barcode scanners and auxiliary analyzer parts if applicable.

4. It is requested to accept the provision of quality controls at two levels (normal and pathological).

a. This is acceptable.

5. It is requested to accept technical support assistance also in Italian.

a. This is acceptable.

7. List of Tests and Workload: Could you please provide a detailed list of tests expected and the instruments workload per year?

a. Answered in Amendment W9114F25QA035-0001

8. Instrument Delivery Timeline: Is it possible to extend the required delivery date for instruments by an additional 90 days, in order to better accommodate shipping and logistics?
