Stryker MTS DRAFT RFP Industry Q & A
25 SEPT 2017 1
Industry Questions Government Response
1. Who is responsible for scheduling and paying for movement of the GFP?
2. If the contractor is responsible, what is the location of the GFP?
3. What condition does the Government anticipate the equipment to be in when it is ready for shipment to the contractor's facility? FMC, FMC+, 10/20?
4. Will the GFP be shipped with BII & any Special
Tools needed to perform remove and replace tasks while in the contractor's facility?
5. What are the disposition instructions for the excess
GFP after it is used to create the Stryker MTSs? One can envision serviceable equipment, up to 14 hulls with complete automotive components, plus LRUs and accessories available to be returned to the
Government.
Clarification:
1,2&5) Upon CLIN(s) award, the Government will be responsible for coordination, and delivery of the GFP to the contractor's facility.
Upon completion of the work the Government will coordinate pickup of any unused GFP.
The contractor is responsible for the deliverables per the RFP
The Government will be responsible for coordination and disposition of any excess
GFP.
3) The GFE items allocated for the Phase V new HOTs and PTT are the same assets the school house is currently using to train remove and replace of key components with the same Phase V requirement lesson plans. These are the same assets shown, demonstrated and allowed to take pictures during Industry Day (November 2016). Except for the 5th Mobile Gun Turret. Upon the award of CLINs, the awardee will be notified of known issues (if any) at that time. Government will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of the GFP to the awardee. Since the allocated GFE are classified as training devices, they cannot be directly categorized as a FMC, FMC+ or 10/20.
4) None have been identified at this time.
