Which of the following Does the government intend to do?:

a) Issue individual lease orders (one or more), each having options / CLINS to complete a full 60-month and will survive as needed beyond the expiration of the IDIQ Contract? OR--

b) Treat the IDIQ Contract itself as the primary lease vehicle, ensuring a full 60-month lease term will be completed when all its options are exercised, with each order only covering funds for each 12-month fiscal period and all orders ending at the same time the IDIQ contract expires?

c) If not one of the foregoing, please explain the government’s intentions regarding the contract and orders?

Yes, the IDIQ contract will serve as the primary lease vehicle over a five-year ordering period. No options on this contract requirement. Each issued order will be for a period of 12-months and will be funded with that fiscal year’s appropriations. The Government can issue orders anytime, as long as it’s within the IDIQ’s ordering period.

Please note that the price applicable to an individual order is the price for the ordering year in which the order is issued.
