Government Responses to Vendor Questions

W81K04‐17‐T‐AVHC

Q# Vendor Question Government Response

The description of the Vitals monitor states it is a GlobalMed product and part number for TotalVitals, but it suggests that it must do spirometry. Did the Government intend to say spirometry?

The Government requires a brand name or equal product of the vitals monitor part number listed in the solicitation which meets the salient characteristics identified. The inclusion of a spirometry function was an error. The language in the solicitation has been amended to reflect the correct salient characteristics of the required product.

In the Amendment, the salient description for the CAS carts devices changed. When this happened the stethoscope changed to have PCP USB AND Thinklabs One Stethoscopes. Does the Government require both stethoscopes?

This was a clerical error; the language within the solicitation has been amended to correct the error.

Vendor concern

We have concerns in regards to material changes, ambiguities, or expansion of scope to the RFQ, namely adding a new:

1. Reference to Windows Server 2012 R2;

2. Specifying new telehealth cart software;

3. Listing as salient characteristics brand name specific characteristics unrelated to the delivery of telehealth care (such as embedding the keyboard in the desktop, etc.); and

4. Introduction of a new request for a proposed mobile telehealth unit or platform (where no specifications, capabilities, qualities, or use cases given).

The Government determined that Amendment 0001 did change the requirement and clarifies the minimum requirements of the Government. The Government issued Amendment 0002 to the solicitation which extended the due date to allow interested parties sufficient time to respond to the solicitation as amended by Amedment 0001.

**Government responses to vendor questions that affected a change to the formal solicitation are highlighted in yellow for ease of reference.
