Government Responses to Vendor Questions
W81K04‐17‐T‐AVHC
Q# Vendor Question Government Response
Please specify/define deliveries, i.e.., to one location or the 47 individual locations per attachment 1, pg. 55 & 56.
The required delivery location will be to specific sites identified in each individual task order. The first 47 sites are identified in Attachment 1 - Military Health System Fielding Plan- Initial Sites already included in the solicitation. All 47 carts will not be delivered to the same location.
Clarification has been added to the solicitation.
Is MEDCOM Solicitation Number: W81K04-17-T-AVHC for Telehealth Carts the formal RFP that came out of RFI W81K04-16-T- TMIP last year?
This requirement is not the formal solicitation for the Request for Information W81K04-16-T-
TMIP.
We wanted to double-check that the items listed on lines 1, 2, and 3 on page 1 and 2 of the RFP are “Brand Name or Equal” for the Global Med CAS, Total Vital Signs Monitor, and Cisco units which may allow additional cost savings and a better value to the government.
Yes, per the solicitation, the required supplies are brand name or equal.
4 Are offerors shipping to U.S. locations for the U.S. Army Medical Command OCONUS sites or shipping directly to the OCONUS sites?
The contractor will be responsible for shipping to CONUS and OCONUS sites. The required delivery location will be identified in each individual task order.
5 Shipping to OCONUS locations can vary significantly. Can the Offeror provide separate shipping charges by location?
Yes, the Government has amended the solicitation to include a contract line item number to allow quoters to quote a price for shipment to CONUS and OCONUS sites separately.
6 Training in OCONUS locations can vary significantly. Can the Offeror price by location?
Yes, the Government has amended the solicitation to include a contract line item number to allow quoters to quote a price for training/installation to CONUS and OCONUS sites separately.
7 Can the product and the training/installation services be invoiced separately? No. Training and Installation services will be billed as one line item.
Is the list of salient characteristics all-inclusive, or are there characteristics of the brand name that must or should be incorporated (for example, the brand name may have battery power/battery back-up, though not specified it could be a factor for comparison)?
Clarification has been added to the solicitation at the Description of Requirement section to clarify the salient characteristics required by the Government as identified in the PWS. Please note that this is not an all inclusive listing of the salient characteristics for each supply item, however these characteristics reflect those that are of most importance to the Government and will be utilized to determine technical acceptability.
**Government responses to vendor questions that affected a change to the formal solicitation are highlighted in yellow for ease of reference.
