Attachment 0011 Solicitation Questions & Answers
W56HZV-23-R-0064
Q1. On each CLIN the range quantities is from 1-200, but the quantity per ordering period only goes up to 38 & 47. Does this indicate the annual demand will be higher than 38 & 47?
A1. The estimated initial delivery order quantity is 143 each for Quick Disconnect Mechanism Assembly, LH / NSN: 2590-01-134-3728 and 114 each for Quick Disconnect Mechanism Assembly, RH / NSN: 2590-
01-134-3729. These quantities were divided by three ordering periods to establish the annual estimated quantities of 47 each and 38 each. Based on customer demand needs it is possible to place an initial order above the 143 each and 114 as well as order quantities above the estimated annual of 47 each and
38 each for both assembly types. Range quantities from 1 to 200 are the estimated ranges for individual delivery orders throughout the three 12-month ordering periods. See also 52.216-19 Order
Limitations. The Government does not expect to place an individual delivery order above 200 each for either assembly type.
Q2. Section 13 states shipment is required at a rate of 72 & 57 each per month 240 days after award. This seems to contradict the 38 & 47 annual quantities. Would you mind clarifying?
A2. As far as the CLIN quantities and required delivery schedule listed at F-3, 52.211-8 Time of Delivery, the Government requires 72 each per month and 57 each per month for the corresponding CLINS listed for both assembly types. For example, based on an estimated initial delivery order of 143 and 114 each, the required delivery schedule is 72 each per month for CLIN 0011 – CLIN 0013 and 57 each per month for CLIN 0021-CLIN 0023. Should a delivery order quantity below 72 each or 57 each be issued, the
Government requires the entire quantity to be delivered at one time. Expedited deliveries and higher quantities are also acceptable at no additional cost to the Government if possible.
Q3. Are there CAD files available for any of the components? If so can they be shared?
A3. No CAD is available beyond what is shown on the pdf drawing.
Q4. Some of the specs, 13222E0084 for example, call out paint IAW TT-C-490 Type F.
Latest rev of TT-C-490 and type F does not seem to exist. Can you provide clarification on what “Type F” is referring to?
A4. There are three drawings found in the Technical Data Packages for Quick Disconnect Mechanism LH and RH that have note errors relating to specification TT-C-490. Type F is an error and should be “Type I”.
The following are corrections for the three drawings:
a. Drawing 13222E0077
Replace the following words in Note 5.:
“PAINT IN ACCORDANCE WITH TT-C-490 TYPE F, ”
with the following words:
“CLEANING AND PRETREATMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH TT-C-490, CLEANING
METHOD OPTIONAL, PRETREATMENT TYPE I. PAINT ”
b. Drawing 13222E0084
Replace the following words in Note 6.:
“PAINT IN ACCORDANCE WITH TT-C-490 TYPE F, ”
with the following words:
“CLEANING AND PRETREATMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH TT-C-490, CLEANING
METHOD OPTIONAL, PRETREATMENT TYPE I. PAINT ”
c. Drawing 13222E0083

METHOD OPTIONAL, PRETREATMENT TYPE I. PAINT COLOR GREEN 383 PER MIL-DTL-
64159.”
