The 10,000 square feet consists of the “original gallery space”, 5,000 sq ft and the “new gallery space” 5,000 sq ft. The original space has soffits with track lighting in place. However, it is over 17 years old; it needs to be integrated into the lighting with the new space. The new space has soffits with recessed lights on all four sides. There are some for the old space too.

The track system in the “old space” must be replaced or upgraded to meet the same specs as what will be put into the “new space.”

Power is provided throughout. Junction boxes are located in the rafters.
(3) Is the contractor to include the cost of an electrical contractor for installation in the contractor’s price? If so please provide information about the electrical service and run distances that are involved in powering the display area.
In the design/build plan an integrated lighting plan must be designed and installed.
(4) Are there approved electrical contractors currently working in the museum space? If so please provide their contact information.
The museum’s electrical needs are fulfilled by the Garrison Department of Public Works. All electrical work must be coordinated with them.
