Vision:
To achieve an organic maintenance and sustainment capability in the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) for vehicles and ground equipment.
Purpose:
To provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), training and mentoring in maintenance, and supply chain management to the ANDSF. These services support United States strategic objectives in transitioning the war effort to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA).
Mission:
Enable the ANDSF to be self-sufficient in maintaining and sustaining its vehicles and ground equipment while maintaining combat readiness. Developing this capability is critical to the Coalition exit strategy from Afghanistan.
Overview
This effort provides targeted training at the management levels to enable a transition of all responsibility for maintenance, sustainment, and supply to the ANDSF.
Both ANA and ANP will remain independent of each other with separate facilities, maintenance locations and operating procedures.
