About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for M548 metal ammunition containers. The Army is seeking these containers to support both training and combat requirements. The amendment extends the solicitation closing date to April 14, 2020 and provides revised electronic proposal submission instructions requiring offerors to request a DoD SAFE link by April 10 for uploading proposals. The amendment also revises packaging and marking requirements, adds the Government Property clause, and removes unnecessary clauses and instructions. It incorporates questions and answers on the metal ammunition containers. Offerors must address technical approach, past performance, and pricing in their proposals to this solicitation for critical ammunition storage and transport containers.
