# Question/Comment Answer

Our assumption is the IRM and SLTT requirements are provided in the Excel file for the purpose of estimating maximum amount of Build development as requested in Section D, paragraph 3(a)? Will the Government provide the requirements for EFI?

Question at Section D, paragraph 3(a) is not intended to be requirements based. We would like to understand the maximum amount of development activities your organization can support agnostic to specific requirements, but bearing in mind the complexity of the sustainment activities for existing end users.

What assumptions should be made about Army adopting newer SAP products such as Suite on HANA or S/4 HANA as the underlying technology to be used for improvements?

Assume HANA will be implemented into the baseline before this contract is awarded. S4 HANA is still being researched for best timing of implementation. For purposes of the RFI, assume S4 HANA implementation and resulting development will at least be initiated during the course of this contract.

Will the Government extend the due to 10 business days from receipt of answers to questions? The Government extends RFI suspense to 0700 ET on 9 January 2017.

Does the Government want the Excel files used to respond as directed to section C. Capabilities/Experience to be embedded in the WORD document response or submitted as a separate EXCEL file?

The Government prefers all Section C. Capabilities/Experience responses be submitted in a separate attached Excel file.

RFI instructions read, “For each project referenced in your organizational response, indicate the scope areas performed by placing an X in the appropriate cell of the table below.” There are no cells or columns labeled

“scope areas” on the example. Can the Government clarify exactly which columns on the sample they wish respondents to mark with an X?

Correction. Please place an "X" in the column "Project Area" for each project referenced in your organizational response. The Task

Descriptions file provides a better understanding of the "Task & Subtask

Areas".

6 Please extend the due date to January 6th 2017 See answer to question #3 above.

7 May we request an extension until 14 JAN? See answer to question #3 above.

The RFI states “ ORGANIZATIONS SUBMITTING RFI RESPONSES SHOULD

HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE PAST 3 YEARS WITH SAP ERP SYSTEM

PROJECTS IN THE FEDERAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DOMAIN”

Question: My organization has experience with ERP system Projects (within the past three years) that fits portions of the past performance questionnaire. However, our systems developments experience (with

GFEBS) is more than 3 years old. Can we still use the systems development past performance?

Yes. Organizations can provide older SAP ERP systems integration/development past performance information, as long as it is within the 20‐page limit.

I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract number?

At this time, this is a new requirement with no incumbent. Eventually, there will be an incumbent for a portion of this potential requirement.
