*** End of Narrative A0000 ***

The purpose of this Amendment 0003 to solicitation W52P1J-15-R-0033 is to answer the following questions that have been received:

Question 1 - Subfactor 1, paragraph e; "Identify choke point in the LAP processes and necessary mitigation strategy".

Please confirm the USG wants to understand which specific operations (both the melt pour line and the assembly line) limits the pace of the production lines. It is understood a mitigation plan would be required if quality or capacity would be marginally met with current infrastructure/operations/inspections method however if quality and capacity exceeds requirement, what would be the need for a mitigation plan?

Answer 1 - The U.S. Government wants to understand which specific operations and inspections limit the pace of production. If a contractor determines the quality and capacity of infrastructure/operations/inspections meets or exceeds requirements, then the contractor should identify the chokepoints and explain how they will affect the overall pace of production.

If a contractor determines the quality and capacity of infrastructure/operations/inspections does not meet the requirements, then the contractor should identify the chokepoints, explain how they will affect the overall pace of production, and provide a mitigation strategy.

Question 2 - NOR R15K2007 (13027661) replaces the Graphical Firing scale 13000971 with 13059933 for the M720A2 and M768A1. This drawing wasnt included in either release of the Tech Data packages supplied. Please clarify and provide subject drawing if this is indeed correct.

Answer 2 - ECP R16Q2015 was just approved on 27 May 2016. This ECP has been uploaded to FBO and provides the necessary information pertaining to the Graphical Firing scale for M720A2 and M768A1. Please note: ECP R16Q2015 includes changes other than adding the missing graphical firing scale drawing and affects M720A1 and M768. These changes will be reflected in FBO no later than close of business on 03 June 2016.

Question 3 - Can you please confirm if the reviewers will be looking at color copies or not?

Answer 3 - Color copies will be provided for evaluation purposes.
