About this file
This is a Purchase Description for scissor lift equipment rental. MCAAP requires a 12-month rental of 2 scissor lifts (MEC-3232SE or equal) with an option to extend the rental agreement up to 5 years. The equipment must meet specific physical and operational thresholds, including a maximum indoor platform height of 32 feet and working height of 38 feet, with reduced specifications for outdoor use (24 feet platform height, 30 feet working height). The scissor lifts must have a chassis width of 32 inches to pass through standard doorway frames, weigh approximately 7,145 pounds, provide a minimum total lift capacity of 550 pounds with 250 pounds capacity on the roll-out extension deck, achieve gradeability up to 25 percent, and feature a zero inside turn radius.
The equipment must incorporate a 24V DC electric drivetrain with sealed AGM batteries and automatic charging capability, allowing full-height indoor operation without outriggers. The work platform requires a minimum 35-inch roll-out deck extension with incremental locking positions, heavy-duty non-skid metal construction, fold-down guardrails for low-clearance transit, and four integrated lanyard attachment points. Usage shall not exceed a standard single 8-hour shift per day. The supplier is responsible for all routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, replacement equipment during downtime, preventive maintenance, required periodic and annual inspections, and assumes liability for equipment loss or damage throughout the rental term.
