About this file

This document is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation W519TC-25-Q-A009 for School Bus Transportation services issued by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island Arsenal. The amendment provides detailed responses to 11 vendor questions about the solicitation, clarifying key aspects of the contract such as transportation routes, student pickup/drop-off locations, scheduling, and administrative requirements. Important details include approximately 60 students being transported, services covering Ben Franklin Elementary, Wilson Junior High, and Moline Senior High schools, and routing between Rock Island Arsenal and local schools.

Key clarifications include that bus drivers cannot park on military or school property, insurance documentation must be provided prior to contract award, and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will coordinate specific route and scheduling details. The current contract is held by Johannes Bus Services, Inc., and the new solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The contract will cover school transportation for approximately 176 days, aligning with the school calendar, and includes provisions for potential emergency transportation of up to 330 children and 85 staff within a 15-mile radius of Rock Island Arsenal.
