About this file

Amendment 0001 for Solicitation W519TC-25-Q-A009 addresses multiple contractor questions regarding a school bus transportation contract for the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island Arsenal. The amendment clarifies key details including student transportation requirements, with approximately 60 students to be transported to Ben Franklin Elementary, Wilson Junior High, and Moline Senior High schools. The current contract is held by Johannes Bus Services, Inc., and the new solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside.

The document provides specific guidance on contract expectations, including insurance requirements, pickup and drop-off locations, and scheduling procedures. Contractors are directed to complete the solicitation form and price matrix found on www.sam.gov. The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will coordinate specific route details, including potential changes to bus stops, and contractors must be prepared to adapt to fluctuating student numbers and potential emergency transportation scenarios involving up to 330 children and 85 staff.
