1. The purpose of Amendment 0002 to solicitation W519TC-24-R-0002 is to provide answers to questions received from Industry:
A.QUESTION: Program Schedule - Is there more detail on the timing of events that can be shared related to anticipated contract award date, FAT delivery, and the date you expect full rate production to begin?
ANSWER: The current projected award date for this acquisition is 3Q FY2025. As identified in Section B and the CDRLs, FAT shall be due 270 days after issuance of Delivery Order and the U.S. Government has 30 days to approve or disapprove the FATR after receipt of the FATR and the first delivery shall be made within 365 days after issuance of the Delivery Order.
B.QUESTION: Quantities Proposed - Is it acceptable to submit a proposal for up to 12,999 annual units? If a proposal submission is made inputting N/A in the 13,000 20,000 quantity range, would it still be viewed as a complete and accurate proposal submission?
ANSWER: No, it is not acceptable to submit a proposal for only a portion of the identified requirements of the RFP. IAW with RFP, Section M.2.3, "If an Offeror fails to propose FAT prices and BDU-50 D/B Production unit prices for all quantity ranges and ordering periods, the U.S. Government may reject that offer as unacceptable."
C.QUESTION: Extension - We will require more time to submit a complete and accurate proposal. We are requesting an extension to
November 25, 2024.
ANSWER: The U.S. Government has extended the proposal submission date to 17 October 2024 and will not consider further extension to the response date at this time.
2. The closing date of 17 October 2024 for solicitation W519TC-24-R-0002 remains unchanged.
3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
