About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to Solicitation W50S9J-24-B-0007 for roof replacement at a West Virginia Air National Guard facility.

The key details are:

  • The solicitation is for a roof replacement project on Building 109 at the West Virginia Air National Guard facility at Yeager Airport.
  • Vendors are allowed to take core samples during a site visit, but must share the results with other bidders. EPDM roofing is the required system, not alternative systems like EPDM. There are 12 skylights that need to be replaced, not 8 as initially stated.
  • Bids require a 20% bid bond. The performance period can be extended if there are material lead time issues. The work includes complete removal and replacement of the EPDM roof membrane, not just replacement of damaged insulation.
  • The solicitation includes NIST SP 800-171 DoD cybersecurity assessment requirements. The contractor must have a current DoD assessment posted in the SPRS system prior to contract award.
