2. If a slope stability analysis report is not available, please confirm subcontractor is not responsible for the completion of the analysis.
A: The current documents do not require the contractor to complete a slope stability analysis.
3. Add-Alternate PV system exceeds inverter manufacturer DC/AC ratio and max DC input. Please provide design information for the Add-Alternate PV system or confirm that an additional inverter would be required to not exceed manufacturer limits.
A: As noted in th alternate descriptions, provide the required items for a complete and fully working system
4. Please confirm that Aluminum conductors are allowed to be used in low voltage and medium voltage circuits.
A: See specification sections 26 0513 -MEDIUM-VOLTAGE CABLES and SECTION 26 0519 LOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL POWER CONDUCTORS AND CABLES, for types and use of cable materials
5. Please confirm copper conductors may be utilized instead of aluminum in electrical circuits.
A: See specification sections 26 0513 -MEDIUM-VOLTAGE CABLES and SECTION 26 0519 LOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL POWER CONDUCTORS AND CABLES, for types and use of cable materials
6. Please confirm the number of modules for the solar array system. E2.0 indicates 1824 modules while E2.1 indicates 792 modules.
A: Follow the module layout as indicated on sheet A2.1 for what is in base Bid (Subarray 1-4). In addition, alternate subarrays are identified in the Alternates descriptions.
7. Please confirm a revenue grade meter is optional.
A: The Optional Revenue Grade Meter, identified on Sheet E5.1, shall be provided as part of the project.
8. Please provide clarification if the 2000 A PV switchboard will still be required if the Add-Alternate PV system is not pursued.
A: Yes, the larger infrastructure is to remain to allow for expansion of the system in the future.
9. Please provide clarification on circuit ID A.1. DC circuit is not illustrated on E5.1 as indicated in the circuit schedule.
A: For clarification of circuit A1, refer to Detail I, Sheet E4.5
10. Please provide stamped issued for construction drawing set for the Add- Alternate PV system design to include stringing, inverter mounting, grounding, interconnection, etc.
A: As noted in each Alternate description, contractor to is responsible for and to provide all items for a fully operational system with the expanded subarrays as noted in each alternate. The Engineer will work with the contractor to verify specific details once final array size is determined based on awarded alternates.
11. What year version of the National Electrical Code must be followed for this project; the 2014, 2017 or the 2020 version?
A: The design shall conform to the 2020 version

A: See sheet C1.0
14. Please provide the most current underground utilities maps of the potential solar array site.
A: See sheet C1.0 for existing survey information and all utilities identified at the time of survey
15. Please provide the most current electrical systems maps of the potential solar array site.
A: See sheet C1.0 for existing survey information and all utilities identified at the time of survey
16. Please include a description and photographs of the physical equipment (if any) where the interconnection is to be connected at each of the potential solar array site.
A: ANG to determine if they want to allow contractors to open/inspect gear as part of prebid visits.
17. Is there any requirement for ground cover in the ground solar array such as geotextile fabric & crushed rock or planting grass? If so, what are the specific requirements?
A: Yes. 94,500 sf of Creeping Thyme is the base bid. Thymus praecox as shown on sheet C2.0
18. Are there any restrictions to changing grade or elevation in the ground solar array area?
A: Grade changes are not currently shown or anticipated to be required. However, if the contractor desires to change grade and can show benefit to the construction process, betterment of the final installation of the Array, and so as not to impact usefulness or cause harm to surrounding grade or facilities, the contractor could make those changes. Any change would be based on final approval by and coordination with the government.
19. Please confirm the modules, DAS and inverter makes/models that expected to be provided by the contractor as of this time.
A: See specification section 26-3100
