Date: RFI No. RFI QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

6/20/2023 1 Due to the very limited clearance on building 025, can we come out and perform a dry fit where we confirm the openers we are supplying will fit in the limited spacing?

Yes, email the 138th contracting office to schedule the dry fit.

Explain the following: pre or post contract award, timing, and any other pertinent information regarding the dry fit.

6/20/2023 2 Upon inspection we saw multiple doors with frayed cables and worn-out hinges, rollers, etc. Should these be included in the scope of work to be replaced?

The contractor shall install all associated parts necessary to provide a fully functional finished product.

6/20/2023 3

Who will be responsible for shutting off power to the garage door openers on the day of installation? Most doors we saw had shut off switches but in the event we find one that doesn’t, how will that affect our workday?

The 138th will shut off power if and when necessary. The contractor shall verify ahead of time if power needs to be shut off and coordinate this through the 138th project manager.

6/20/2023 4 Will extensions to the POP be granted due to weather delays?

Yes, extensions to POP will be granted in the case of weather delays.

6/20/2023 5 Will the Government provide bathroom facilities for Contractor, or will porta-potties need to be considered in our bid?

Contractors are responsible for providing their own bathroom facilities on site.

6/20/2023 6

Will the Government be providing access to any utilities to the Contractor for performance of work - the breakers that kill power to the existing motors before we can remove them?

Yes, access to the breakers for existing motors will be granted.

Please coordinate with the project manager before initial shutoff to allow communication to those possibly effected by the lack of power

6/20/2023 7

May the Contractor invoice for materials upon purchase and submission of purchase order? If not, may the Contractor invoice for materials upon arrival of materials to job site?

Contractor may invoice for approved materials once they are onsite.
