About this file
This document contains a Request for Information (RFI) response regarding a federal construction project and the related Solicitation Notice. The RFI response provides clarification on specifications for an air shower, water lines, concrete pads, and overhead doors if certain bid options are accepted or declined. It also specifies fall arrest anchor details and additional anchors for a new roof. The Solicitation Notice is for the ADD/ALTER B403 CC project at Mansfield Air National Guard Base, involving renovation and construction of the B403 Corrosion Control facility. Services include demolition, site work, doors/windows, sprinklers, HVAC, electrical upgrades, and IT infrastructure. The project duration is estimated at 300 days with a Notice to Proceed. There are four additive bid items for additional work areas, an air shower, motorized door, and blast resistant windows. Bids will be evaluated without discussion and awarded in accordance with the FAR. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses with a NAICS code of 236220 and $1-5 million magnitude. The pre-bid conference is November 5 and bids are due December 7 through the SAM website.
