Please Focus your questions around the scope included in the PWS and relevant attachments. Any wish or spec that is discussed outside of the scope is not to be considered.

It is the responsibility of the contractor to review and respond to all the information in the solicitation prior to submitting a Bid.

Project Information Overview: This project involves the removal and replacement of 3 STC 46 doors within building 3390, as identified on the attached floor plans. Two doors are 3’ x 7’, one door is 4’ x 7’. The doors being replaced, shall include new frames and hardware, as per provided specifications in a follow-on solicitation post. New doors shall be primed and painted.

Project Information

The bid Submission, SF1442, contains one priced Contract Line Items (CLIN):

CLIN 0001 – (3) Interior Door Replacement, STC, Building 3390

• No further Bid Break-Out is required by bidders.

Key Project Personnel Project Management & Site Superintendent The contractor shall be required to provide a dedicated Site Superintendent through completion of the project.

The Site Superintendent MUST be on site at all times during active construction activities.

Project Manager, Quality Control and Superintendent Positions are considered key positions.

These positions SHALL NOT be subcontracted below the Prime Contractor

Submit Questions Questions must be submitted via email to the Contracting Office No Later than 10:00am, EST, 9 August 2023 Email: Brian.maloney.5@us.af.mil and karen.e.foulds@us.af.mil Procedures for submitting Bid Questions are located in the SF1442 Section 00100 Attach 03 and MUST be followed or questions will NOT be answered.

Do NOT submit questions directly to the AE Firm, Engineering Office, other Government personnel.

Answers will be posted to SAM.gov in the form of a Solicitation Amendment on a SF30 Contractors will not receive personalized responses to questions.

Questions received after the above date & time will not be answered

Bidder Responsibility Bidders MUST be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of Bid Opening.

The Government will make a determination of Responsibility in accordance with the requirements set forth in the SF 1442.

To determine Responsibility - The apparent low bidder may be requested by the Government, prior to Award, to submit a statement regarding previous experience in performing comparable work, business and technical organization, financial, insurance, and bonding resources, or plant available to be used in performing the work.

Past Performance will not be evaluated separately for the this solicitation.

What to submit Clear and concise bid addressing all requirements detailed in the Solicitation.

Bid Package requirements are detailed in Section 00100, Attach 03, Item 7 – “Bid Packages” Bids must be signed on the SF1442 - Submit hard copy a full digital pdf version of your bid.

Acknowledge all Amendments on the Solicitation, SF1442 Complete and return Representations and Certifications found in Section 00600 Bid Guarantee - N/A

Bid Submission & Opening Bidders MUST review the SF1442, Section 00100, Item 8 Bid Submission for full procedures and guidance.

• Due – 23 August 2023 @ 10:00 am, EST (Amendment to SAM.GOV solicitation will be posted today to reflect the change from 04:00 pm to 10:00 am.)
