About this file
This document is a set of Requests for Information (RFIs) related to solicitation W50S8624R0002 for the repair of the main entry control point (ECP) driving lane overhang at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) in Michigan. The RFI addresses a potential discrepancy in the specifications referencing work to be done at Battle Creek, which is not mentioned elsewhere. The response clarifies that the Division 1 Specifications are consolidated for all Michigan Air National Guard installations and that the requirement only involves work at the Alpena CRTC.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the repair of the existing main ECP covered drive at the Alpena CRTC, which was damaged by an oversized vehicle. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to perform the work in accordance with the contract standards. This is a 100% small business set-aside solicitation with a $19.0M size standard and a NAICS code of 238160: Sheet Metal Roofing Installation. The project magnitude is less than $25,000.00, and proposals are due by 30 April 2024 at 11:00 AM EST. A site visit is highly encouraged on 11 April 2024 at 1:00 PM EST. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the Request for Proposal and is most advantageous to the Government considering price and non-price related factors.
