About this file
This document is a Memorandum for Record (MFR) that discusses the need to post a corrected Bid Abstract for solicitation number W50S8624B0001, titled "TDVG222031 - Repair Troop Quarters Roofs" at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena, MI. The bid opening occurred on July 26, 2024, but a bid was received on July 24, 2024 that was not delivered to the Contracting Officer until August 3, 2024. The Contracting Officer has determined that the late bid was within the government's control prior to the bid due date, award has not been made, and accepting the bid would not unduly delay the acquisition. Therefore, the Contracting Officer will accept the late bid and post a corrected Bid Abstract to SAM.gov that includes the previously omitted bid information.
The related federal contract opportunity is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for the repair of troop quarters roofs at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, with a period of performance of 365 days and an estimated project magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. An original bid bond is required with the bid submission. The solicitation and all related information will be posted on SAM.gov, and a pre-bid conference and site visit are highly encouraged.
