About this file
This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for the addition and alteration of a POL operations building at the Maine Air National Guard Base in Bangor, Maine. The project consists of providing all plant, labor, and materials to complete an addition and alter Building 530 in accordance with the specifications. The North American Industry Classification code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $39.5 million in average annual receipts. Construction value is estimated between $1 million and $5 million. The amendment addresses responses to requests for information received during the pre-bid conference and contractor reviews. Key issues clarified include acceptable testing procedures, wage and tax requirements, and clarifications to drawings. The solicitation is designated as a small business set-aside for award to the responsible bidder with the most advantageous price. Funds are anticipated to become available by September 30, 2020 for award if prices are within a reasonable range.
