About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to the solicitation for the Repair MOGAS Station project. The solicitation calls for the removal of two existing 5,000-gallon underground fuel tanks and associated dispensers, canopy, concrete island, and electrical and communications infrastructure at the fuel station site. Bidders should not supply or install new tanks as part of the project. The scope of work also includes installation of a new cantilever canopy with a standing seam roof but no wall panels, as well as eight bollard posts following tank removal. Provisions for contaminated soil removal are included, to be treated as a differing site condition. The document provides clarification on project details, such as tank and infrastructure locations and removal requirements, canopy specifications, and stormwater management revisions eliminating proposed inlets and roads.

Questions and Answers
Statement of Work indicates to “Excavate if required to remove all contaminated soil”. It is very difficult to provide an accurate cost for this since it is unclear if the soil is contaminated and if it is, the quantity that has contamination is unknown. Can a allowance amount determined by the military be included in our bid instead?
If contaminated soil is encountered during construction, it will be treated as a differing site condition.
14 What is the height requirement for the canopy? Reference revised statement of work para 2.1 (F) – 20’ tall
