About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) record from a meeting held on 9/15/2025 at Rausin Auditorium. The document addresses a specific query regarding as-built documentation for a system project involving device removal and reinstallation.
The key detail is that as-built documentation is not required for this project since no changes are being made to the existing system. The contractor will simply be removing devices and reinstalling them in their original locations. The response specifically references line H) of the original document, which initially stated "Contractor shall submit as-builts for current system," but the Q&A clarifies that no such submission is necessary given the scope of work involves no system modifications.

Question and Answer #1
Rausin Auditorium
9/15/2025
1. There is not any change to the current system, just removing devices and reinstalling them. However it talks about compliance and as-builts for the current system. Per line H) "Contractor shall submit as-builts for current system." Is this required?
As-builts are not required, as there are no changes being made to the system itself—only the removal and reinstallation of existing devices in their original locations. As long as they are not changing anything to the system then we are good.
