About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) Log documenting six inquiries submitted by potential contractors regarding Solicitation W50S6Y-26-Q-A017 for a Stationary Nitrogen Generator System for the Florida Air National Guard's 125th Fighter Wing. The RFI responses, all returned on July 1, 2026, clarify critical technical specifications and procurement parameters. Key technical requirements established through the RFI process include: nitrogen purity of 99.5%, a minimum capacity of 912 Standard Cubic Feet (SCF) at 5,000 PSI for storage, and an electrically powered stationary system suitable for aircraft tire service. The government rejected three potential offerings as non-responsive due to inability to meet these specifications, including a diesel-driven unit and systems with maximum pressures of only 4,400 PSI. The RFI log also confirms that site visits will not be provided, pricing proposals must be based solely on the solicitation documentation and provided specifications, and this is classified as a commodity item procurement.

The government established that this single-unit procurement requires the contractor to provide complete delivery to the 125th FW Installation, uncrating, assembly, commissioning with all necessary labor and materials, on-site operator training, English-language Operation and Maintenance manuals in both digital and physical formats, and a minimum one-year commercial warranty covering parts and labor. No specific award date, pricing terms, or contract vehicle type is referenced in the RFI log itself, though the procurement is managed by the Department of the Army Florida Army National Guard.
