About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation W15QKN-26-R-0A071 concerning Glock weapon systems and related equipment. The procurement is being conducted on a sole-source basis exclusively with Glock, Inc. for Non-Standard Weapons (NSW) and commercially available Glock weapon systems. The required products include specific Glock platforms (G17, G19, G19X, G26, G43X, G17T, and G19T), associated magazines, spare parts, accessories, holsters, tools, and training. The Government has explicitly confirmed that alternative manufacturer products, including FN Herstal/FN America systems, will not be considered regardless of technical equivalency, as the specifications require Glock-manufactured products and services directly from Glock, Inc.
The document addresses three clarifications posted on August 24 and August 27, 2026. Q1 clarifies that the acquisition is a sole-source solicitation to Glock, Inc., referencing page 3 of the solicitation. Q2 confirms the Government's requirement for Glock products exclusively and rejects consideration of competing offers from alternative manufacturers. Q3 directs respondents to Attachment 0003—Glock Pricing Matrix for the comprehensive list of all required weapon systems, training, individual parts, and contractor spare part kits, including items not explicitly mentioned in the questions such as holsters.

Glock Solicitation W15QKN-26-R-0A071 Questions and Answers
Posted 24 August 2026
Q1. Our firm has strong interest in responding to the subject Notice ID for Glock weapons systems, spare parts and accessories. Just to confirm, is this procurement a sole-source WOSB set-aside? I’m finding mixed info online, saying it is a WOSB Set-Aside, but nothing on the actual SAM.gov page or documents seem to confirm that. Could you help provide more insight?
A1. Reference is made to page 3 of the solicitation which states: The acquisition approach is to solicit on a sole source basis to Glock, Inc. for the Non-Standard Weapons (NSW)/ Commercially available GLOCK weapon systems, Spare parts kits, magazines, and raining.
The awarded contract will require the delivery in accordance with the terms and conditions of the delivery orders awarded under the contract.
Q2. The solicitation states that the Government intends to issue this requirement on a sole-source basis to Glock, Inc. for the G17, G19, G19X, G26, G43X, G17T, and G19T platforms and associated magazines, spare parts, holsters, tools, and training.
Would the Government consider a competing offer proposing FN Herstal/FN America weapon systems that are technically equivalent to the specified Glock platforms, provided the proposed systems meet or exceed the Government's applicable technical, performance, training, logistics, and support requirements?
Proposed FN products would be supplied directly from the manufacturer's production facility or authorized manufacturer warehouse, rather than sourced through secondary commercial distribution. We are evaluating FN platforms that may provide comparable capabilities, together with the associated magazines, spare parts, accessories, tools, and training necessary to support the Government's requirements.
If technically equivalent products from another OEM are acceptable, please confirm whether an offer based on FN Herstal/FN America products may be submitted and evaluated under this solicitation. If alternative OEM products will not be considered, we would appreciate confirmation that offers are restricted specifically to Glock-manufactured products.
A2. Alternative products will not be considered, other products do not meet the Government’s specifications for this effort. The Government specifically requires Glock weapon systems, parts, accessories, contractor spare parts, and training directly from Glock, Inc.

Glock Solicitation W15QKN-26-R-0A071 Questions and Answers
Q3. I did not see holsters on the item list. Will there be a holster request? Our holster fits all of those Glock firearms so you would only need two holsters a left hand and a right hand version. Holster that CBP is using and it passed the rigorous CBP testing. Data can be provided.
A3. Reference is made to Attachment 0003-Glock Pricing Matrix which contains a list of all required weapon systems, training, individual parts and contractor spare part kits.
