About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Q&A for a lodging and meal accommodation contract for the 160th Military Police Battalion. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is conducting market research for a lodging requirement within a 30-mile radius of Tallahassee, Florida, beginning May 26th. The RFI clarifies key submission details, including that email submissions are acceptable, no specific format is required for capability statements, and all lodging and meals must comply with current GSA per diem limits.

Key details include the anticipated solicitation timing in early May, with no current set-aside preferences or specific eligibility requirements beyond SAM registration. The contract opportunity is focused on providing lodging and meal accommodations for the 160th Military Police Battalion, with the government seeking vendor capabilities through this market research phase. Vendors can submit capability statements in PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint formats, with the primary goal of preparing for a future Request for Quote (RFQ).

W15QKN-25-Q-0012 160th Lodging in Kind RFI Q&A Part 2

1. Submission Method Clarification: I noticed there is no submission link available on SAM.gov. Could you please confirm whether email submission is sufficient for this RFI or if an additional step is required through the portal?

Answer: Email submission is sufficient for the RFI. There are no additional steps regarding submission.

1. Format for Final Submission: Should the capability information be submitted in a specific format (e.g., PDF, Word, or structured template), or is a standard memo-style capability statement acceptable?

Answer: There is no specific format required for the capability statement. PDF, Word, Excel, and Power Point are all acceptable formats for the capability statement.

1. Procurement Timeline and Follow-On Opportunity: Will this RFI lead to a formal solicitation, and if so, is there an estimated release date we should track?

Answer: We are conducting market research in preparation for solicitation, as of now there is not an estimated RFQ release date. With the lodging requirement beginning on May 26th we anticipate that we will solicit in the beginning of May to provide adequate time for vendors to gather responses.

1. Vendor Eligibility: Are there any eligibility requirements beyond SAM registration and compliance with the per diem guidelines that we should be aware of (e.g., set-aside preferences or required past performance)?

Answer: As of now there are no eligibility requirements beyond SAM registration as we are still conducting market research.

1. Pricing Expectations: At this stage, do you require any specific pricing format, or is it sufficient to confirm that all lodging and meals will fall within current GSA per diem limits?

Answer: All lodging and meals will fall within the current GSA per diem limits.
