About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for a federal lodging contract opportunity for the 160th Military Police Battalion near Tallahassee, Florida. The contract (Solicitation W15QKN-25-Q-0012) requires lodging for service members, with specific requirements including tax-exempt status, no parking charges, on-site or nearby parking for 21 cars, and a location in a low-crime area with security cameras or a security guard. The government will only pay for actual rooms occupied, and the selected contractor must pay the hotel directly, with reimbursement through DFAS.
Key contract details include a fixed, non-flexible date range, a complete room requirement (partial quotes are not acceptable), and an anticipated award within 3 business days of the performance start. This is a new contract with no incumbent, does not require meals or transportation, and mandates on-site presence (which can be fulfilled by hotel staff). The lodging facility must be within a 30-mile radius of Tallahassee and meet specific security and accessibility standards. There are no plans for additional training events or lodging requirements in the next 12 months.
