About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for three construction projects at the Barnes Building in Boston, MA. The amendment adds five attachments related to the loading dock doors, floor plan, and mechanical design drawings.

The solicitation is for a 100% small business set-aside to provide the following services: 1) Clean the exterior building surface and windows, 2) Repair the loading dock doors, and 3) Replace the chiller piping and valves. The period of performance is staggered, ranging from 60 to 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated price ranges are $100,000 to $250,000, $25,000 to $100,000, and $250,000 to $500,000, respectively. The government intends to award one or more firm-fixed price contracts based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Site visits are highly encouraged and the deadline for questions is March 18, 2024. Proposals are due by March 27, 2024.
