About this file
This document contains questions and responses regarding Solicitation W15QKN-19-R-0133. The solicitation is for the production, test, inspection, packaging and delivery of M211 Infrared Countermeasure Decoys as well as MJU-50A/B and MJU-51A/B Infrared Countermeasure Flares. These countermeasures are designed to protect Army and Air Force aircraft from infrared seeking missile threats using pyrophoric payloads that react with air to generate decoying infrared signatures. Drawing packages and technical data packages are provided as attachments. One question clarified that the National Stock Number for the M211 Flare should reference the "with decal" variant. The other question regarding component lists on ammunition data cards was answered by referring contractors to Drawing 12988788.

W15QKN-19-R-0133 0001 Attachment 33
1. Q: The National Stock Number (NSN) for the M211 Flare is stated as 1370-01-534-9804 in CLINs 0002, 0008, and 0014 as well as on Page 62 under DFARs 252.223-7007. However, this is the NSN for the M211 Without the Decal. Would you please advise if this was intended to be 1370- 01-460-1684 as Attachment 11 and Statement of Work Section 3.1.1 indicates that the unit should include the decal?
A: The Government requests the “with decal” variant NSN 1370-01-460-1684.
2. Q: For Attachments 20, 21, and 22, Contract Addendum Quality Assurance Requirements, ARDEC 367 Selection #32 Ammunition Data Cards (ADCs) does not include the list of components with associated drawing numbers that are required to be included on the ADCs for each product. Please advise if these lists will be provided.
A: Drawing 12988788 has a component list for the contractors to reference.
