About this file
This document contains a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for a potential contract to manufacture and deliver the FMU-153A/B Point Detonating/Delay (PD/DLY) Fuze. The CDRL outlines 20 data items that the contractor would be required to submit at various stages of performance. Key details include:
-
A single 5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with Firm-Fixed Price orders will be awarded for the manufacture, inspection, assembly, packaging and delivery of the FMU-153A/B Fuze to specifications.
-
The fuze is used in 105mm projectiles fired from AC-130 gunships and can be set for either point detonating or delay modes. The CDRL covers quality plans, test reports, engineering change documents, packaging tests, and other technical data required for government oversight.
-
Distribution of some technical data is restricted to the Department of Defense and U.S. contractors. Interested firms must submit non-disclosure and technical data agreements for consideration to receive restricted data.
-
The Army Contracting Command will issue the solicitation. Response is restricted to offers from the United States and Canada. The CDRL outlines 20 data items at various stages of performance that the contractor must submit to the government.
