About this file
This file consists of a Maryland Voter Registration Application (VRA) form and instructions provided by the Maryland State Board of Elections, along with a related state and local contract opportunity. The contract opportunity, titled "Voting Information Packets at Correctional Facilities," requests printing and shipping of approximately 10,500 unaddressed voting information packets to 50 correctional facilities across Maryland for both the 2026 Primary and 2026 General Elections. The scope of work and specification details are referenced in the attachments tab but are not fully detailed in the provided documentation.
The voter registration form itself serves as an informational document outlining Maryland's voter registration eligibility requirements, methods of registration (online, mail-in, or during early voting/election day), and the information necessary to complete the registration process. Key eligibility criteria include U.S. citizenship, Maryland residency, and being at least 16 years old. The form also details confidentiality protections, including Maryland's Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors. Registration must be submitted at least 21 days before election day for mail-in applications. The form requires completion in black ink and submission to the appropriate County Board of Elections. Additional pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, and other contract-specific details are not provided in the available documentation.
