About this file

This document outlines the vendor background check and security policy specifications for a contract opportunity with the Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR). The policy requires that all vendors, regardless of the services provided, undergo appropriate security clearance and background check requirements as specified in KDOR's personnel services and security policies. Vendors with access to KDOR information systems, federal tax information (FTI), or motor vehicle records must comply with KDOR's vendor management, training, and background check policies, including completing security awareness training and KDOR-required training. Vendors must also submit to a KBI Federal Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, which will be reviewed by KDOR. Vendors without access to KDOR information systems but with access to KDOR facilities must also submit to a KBI Federal Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. All background checks are at the vendor's expense, unless otherwise agreed upon, and KDOR reserves the right to deduct the cost from payments due to the vendor if not reimbursed within 14 days.

The document does not contain any information about pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient commercial terms. The focus is solely on the security and background check requirements for vendors seeking to work with KDOR.
