About this file
The document is a Vendor Affidavit from Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) related to a window tinting contract opportunity, specifically addressing compliance with Florida Statute § 787.06(13) regarding human trafficking and labor coercion. The affidavit requires nongovernmental entities executing, renewing, or extending contracts with governmental entities to certify that they do not engage in prohibited activities such as using physical force, restraining individuals, exploiting labor through debt, confiscating immigration documents, causing financial harm, or enticing people through fraud.
The affidavit serves as a mandatory certification for vendors participating in HCPS contracts, with the contractor required to sign under penalty of perjury, affirming they will not use coercive or exploitative practices in their labor and service relationships. While directly linked to a window tinting procurement, the document is a standard compliance form designed to ensure ethical business practices and prevent human trafficking, requiring an authorized company representative to complete and sign the document, attesting to their commitment to fair and lawful labor practices.
