About this file
This is an architectural update document clarifying specifications for a freezer floor installation project. The document revises previous architectural drawings by specifying that a manufactured insulated freezer floor panel will not be used. Instead, a concrete floor will be poured prior to freezer installation, incorporating R-20 high density insulated sheathing and a 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier. The freezer wall panels are to be installed directly onto the prepared concrete slab.
No pricing information, bidding timelines, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other contractual terms are detailed in this document. The update serves solely as a technical clarification to ensure proper construction sequencing and material specifications for the freezer floor preparation phase of the project.

Text version
Update – Freezer Floor The architect’s drawing in the previous attachment references a “manufactured insulated freezer floor panel”. This will not be necessary, as a concrete floor requiring R-20 high density insulated sheathing and 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier will be pouring prior to freezer installation. The freezer wall panels should be installed directly onto this concrete slab.
