About this file
This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the University of Connecticut Health Center (UConn Health) for comprehensive Sleep Lab Management services. UConn Health seeks qualified sleep lab management companies to provide in-lab and home sleep study testing, technician staffing and scheduling, patient scheduling coordination, sleep test insurance approval and prior authorization processing, and maintenance and renewal of American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) certification. The RFP opened April 9, 2026 at 9:15 AM EDT and closes April 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT, with a vendor question and answer period from April 15, 2026 through April 20, 2026. Inquiries should be directed to Lynn Brown at UConn Health Center, 16 Munson Road, Farmington, Connecticut 06030, by telephone at 860-679-1775 or email at lybrown@uchc.edu. The contract term is three (3) years, approximately October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029, with UConn Health holding the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods. UConn Health expects to make one award to a single supplier based on the Selection Committee's evaluation of proposals received.
Pricing shall remain fixed throughout the award term with no increases allowed except as specifically stated in the RFP provisions. Payment terms are net 45 days, and proposers must exclude all excise, transportation, and sales taxes from bid prices as UConn Health is exempt under Connecticut General Statutes Section 12-412. Proposers must quote prices for eight specific sleep study types: Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Test, Maintenance Wakefulness Test, Titration Study, Split Study, Complexity Study, Home Sleep Study, and WatchPAT. The RFP is open to all qualified vendors with no set-aside designations specified. Subcontracting and offshoring are not permitted. Proposers must provide three current client references and one previous client reference capable of commenting on the proposer's quality of goods/services, customer service level, and ability to handle the type and volume of business described. All proposers must complete the RFP response spreadsheet in its entirety, provide required certifications and licenses, comply with cybersecurity and data handling requirements, and agree to UConn Health's Vendor Code of Conduct and standard contract terms without modification except where specifically allowed for contract language redlines.
