About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for the Telluride Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (TRWWTP) Dewatering Redundancy Project, issued by the Town of Telluride, Colorado, on February 7, 2025. The addendum modifies several contract documents, including the Bid Form, Construction Contractor Qualifications Form, and Work Restrictions section. Key modifications include a maximum 2-hour shutdown duration for temporary tie-ins prior to plant effluent water demolition, requirements for connecting influent screen wash water to a temporary potable water supply, and replacements of multiple drawings including mechanical, electrical, and structural plans.
The addendum provides detailed specifications for piping materials, valve schedules, and equipment installations, with a focus on replacing existing dewatering equipment and infrastructure. The project involves relocating and reinstalling existing components such as polymer systems, screw conveyors, and magnetic flow meters, as well as installing new equipment like dewatering presses, hydropneumatic tanks, and associated piping. The modifications suggest a comprehensive upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant's dewatering process, aimed at improving redundancy and operational efficiency while maintaining existing infrastructure where possible.
