About this file

This is a training attachment for a fire services contract managed by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) at Camp Grayling and related military installations in Michigan. The contract requires comprehensive training and drills to be completed by fire services personnel during the first month of each contracted year, including ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) training, up-armored vehicle training, vehicle rollover training, fire suppression systems training, range safety briefings, and diversity training. Additionally, contractors must complete DMVA drills such as ARFF drills at the Grayling Army Air Field, Ammunition Supply Point drills for South Camp contracts, and mutual aid exercises. Station drills must be completed by August 30 and include three scenarios each for vehicle fires, building fires, HAZ-MAT operations, and rescue operations, all with EMS response components.

The academic training component covers aircraft-specific instruction for CH-47, UH-60, and Shadow helicopters, including crash rescue procedures, aircraft fuel dynamics, emergency engine shutdown procedures, extraction techniques, and scene security protocols. Hands-on training requirements include practical exercises on emergency engine shutdown procedures, extraction operations, and familiarization with GAAF and Shadow hangers. The file does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding sources, or award dates, as these details are not included in this training attachment document.
