About this file
This is an Amendment to Request for Proposal (RFP) 210000000701 containing answers to vendor questions submitted by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). The contract opportunity is structured as a five-year engagement consisting of a three-year base period with two optional renewal years at the discretion of the DMVA. The DMVA retains the right to exercise these renewal options at the conclusion of the initial three-year base period, with the potential for the full contract term to extend to five years if both options are exercised. There are no mandatory site visits required for vendors to submit bids for this opportunity.
No additional information regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or other financial requirements is provided in this vendor question response document.

Amendment to RFP 210000000701 Answers to Vendor Questions
Q. 1 Question date: 02/5/21
RE:
a. Is this a contract for 3 years with 2 additional years, so 5 years total?
ANSWER:
This is a 5-year opportunity; in other words, the contract is for 3 years with 2 renewal option years. The DMVA can choose to exercise these two additional options at the end of the base year period (3 years), and if both are exercised, the full term of the contract is 5 years.
b. I also wanted to make sure we did not have a mandatory site visit that we had to do in order to bid.
ANSWER:
There are no mandatory site visits for this bid.
