About this file
This document is a detailed technical specification for Trailer Jackets and Trousers, focusing on product demonstration and first article testing requirements. The specification requires sample submissions for visual and dimensional examination, with specific sampling requirements for jackets and trousers in sizes Small-Reg, Medium-Reg, and Large-Reg. The document outlines rigorous quality assurance procedures, including shade evaluation testing, with precise color matching specifications using AATCC Evaluation Procedure 9 and specific illumination conditions.
The technical specification includes comprehensive testing protocols, with samples to be forwarded to the DLA Product Testing Center Analytical in Philadelphia for evaluation. Contractors must provide detailed information about component suppliers and manufacturers, with strict requirements for maintaining source integrity. The document emphasizes compliance with quality standards, including ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2015, and establishes specific procedures for lot inspections, shade testing, and physical testing of the garments. The specification is associated with a pre-solicitation for Sage Green and OCP IWOL Jackets under the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles agency.
