About this file

This document is a technical data jacket for Air Force Intermediate Weather Outer Layer (AF IWOL) Jackets, detailing specifications for two color variants: Sage Green (Type 1, Class 1) and Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) (Type 1, Class 2). The jacket is manufactured according to specific pattern requirements (PD WNU 17-04A, dated December 13, 2017) with precise manufacturing and quality standards, including detailed spectral reflectance specifications for each color variant.

The technical document provides comprehensive sizing information across multiple dimensions (XS-XXL in short, regular, and long lengths), with corresponding National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Universal Product Codes (UPCs). Packaging requirements mandate 10 jackets per carton, with each jacket individually packaged in a commercially acceptable polybag. The jackets must adhere to specific quality inspection levels, with an American Society for Quality (ANSI/ASQC Z1.4) compliant quality assurance process. The solicitation is managed by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles and is currently in the pre-solicitation stage.
