About this file

This document is Addendum 4 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) #2025-15 issued by the Town of Farragut for the Mayor Bob Leonard Park (MBLP) Pickleball Courts project. The addendum provides clarification regarding fencing specifications, specifically addressing questions about privacy slats and windscreen. The document confirms that no privacy slats will be used, and windscreen will only be applied to exterior fencing, matching the fencing color. The addendum emphasizes that only written communications and official addenda are binding, and all inquiries must be directed to Anissa Pratte, Staff Accountant, via email at apratte@townoffarragut.org.

The addendum is part of a broader procurement process for constructing pickleball courts and associated site improvements. It reinforces the town's commitment to transparent and clear communication with potential bidders, ensuring that all parties have accurate and consistent information about the project specifications. The document serves as an official modification to the original solicitation, with a critical stipulation that bidders who fail to acknowledge receipt of all addenda may have their bid submissions rejected.

Town of Farragut

Addendum 4

ITB#2025-15

Mayor Bob Leonard Park (MBLP) Pickleball Courts

03/27/2025

The bidder acknowledges this addendum shall modify and become a part of the original solicitation document. The Bidder further acknowledges that should it be determined at the time of the bid opening that the Bidder has failed to acknowledge receipt of ALL issued addenda; the Bidder’s Bid submission shall be rejected. The Bidder understands that any verbal representation made or assumed to be made during any oral discussion held between Bidder’s representatives and any Town personnel is not binding.

Only the information issued in writing and added to the specifications by an official addendum is binding.

Q1. It appears that the specifications are calling for gray privacy slats and gray windscreen. However, the plans don’t make any mention of this. Therefore, could we get clarifications as follows:

1. Do the fences require privacy slats and windscreen?

2. If so, then do any of the interior fencing between courts require privacy slats and windscreen?

A1. We will not be using privacy slats on any fencing. Windscreen only on exterior fencing and color to match fencing.

All communications regarding this ITB must be submitted via email to the Finance Department representative identified below:

Anissa Pratte, Staff Accountant apratte@townoffarragut.org

The Staff Accountant will be the sole point of contact for this ITB.
