About this file

The document is a Ten-Year Funding Limit certification form for the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program, which enforces strict guidelines on funding duration for community coalitions. The document specifies that a coalition may not receive more than 10 years of DFC funding under any circumstances, with specific restrictions for legal applicants and 501(c)(3) coalitions, including prohibitions on receiving funds after reaching the ten-year limit.

The accompanying federal grant opportunity is for the Drug-Free Communities Support Program, administered by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for Fiscal Year 2025. The program aims to establish and strengthen community collaborations to prevent and reduce substance use among youth (individuals 18 years and younger), with a focus on addressing risk factors and promoting protective factors in communities. This specific funding opportunity targets applicants who have completed their first five-year funding cycle or experienced a funding lapse, with the CFDA Number 93.276, supporting community coalitions in substance use prevention efforts.
