About this file
This document is a City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department plan and detail for a Temporary Location Treatment System. The project involves installing a stormwater treatment system at a recycling yard, with a total work area of approximately 25' x 150'. Key components include a diversion box, (3) open-top frac tanks with 20,000-gallon capacity each, sand filters, generators, and approximately 100' of pipe. The system is designed to handle stormwater flow from impervious areas when flow exceeds 400 GPM, with sampling ports required for influent, midpoint, and effluent monitoring.
The site layout allows flexibility for the contractor to arrange equipment within the designated work/staging limits. Technical specifications include an Oldcastle Precast KOB-3636 embed box, 24" and 8" ADS SD pipes, and a sump pump to be installed by the vendor. The vendor will also be responsible for plugging the 4" outlet in the diversion box. The plan is dated 8/4/25 and includes detailed drawings of the diversion box, site layout, and equipment placement, with a scale of 1" = 20' for the overall site plan.
