About this file
This is a Contract Item Developer User Guide (Version 4 CCB 202) for DOMINO version 2.11, a system used for developing Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT5) items. The guide provides detailed instructions for contractors on how to use the DOMINO web application to create, modify, and manage test items for reading and listening comprehension assessments.
The guide covers key functionality including system navigation, document creation, metadata entry, audio file management, and item development workflows. Specific features detailed include: logging in through Chrome or Firefox browsers, configuring table views, filtering and sorting capabilities, creating reading and listening comprehension documents, adding multiple choice and constructed response items, managing audio files, entering item metadata, and using the resubmission task for previously submitted items. The guide emphasizes important operational notes such as verifying audio playback before submission, removing comments before contract submission, and following specific workflows for modifying documents and resubmitting items. The system requires authorized user credentials and is accessed through https://zdomino.dliflc.edu.

Only documents that have been previously submitted to the government using the Contract Submit task qualify to use the Resubmission task in DOMINO. The Resubmission task is designed to enable additional items to be added to documents that have been previously submitted to the government and reviewed by the government. Only per contractor and COR coordination, the Resubmission task will be enabled within DOMINO and appear on the task bar.
Resubmission note: You will find all areas of the document (including Passage, Audio, previously submitted items, metadata, etc.) are not editable during the Resubmission task. The only permitted action is adding new items and entering metadata about the new items.
